About The Position
1-800-Pack-Rat, LLC is seeking motivated, safety-conscious Class A or B CDL drivers to deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. Drivers provide a positive customer experience at every stop and follow DOT and company safety regulations. Drivers are home daily, with no overnight travel. The position is part-time.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- Skill maneuvering large vehicles.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- At least 21 years old, due to an insurance requirement.
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A or B vehicle.
- Deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers.
- Provide excellent customer service during every interaction.
- Complete accurate paperwork and use a tablet and GPS for routing.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
