About The Position
1-800-Pack-Rat, LLC is seeking motivated and safety-conscious Class A or B CDL drivers to deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. Drivers provide a positive customer experience at every stop and follow DOT and company safety regulations. Drivers are home daily, with no overnight travel. The role requires customer service skills, safe vehicle operation, accurate paperwork, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- Skill maneuvering large vehicles.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- At least 21 years old due to insurance requirements.
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A or B vehicle.
- Deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers.
- Provide excellent customer service during every interaction.
- Complete accurate paperwork and use a tablet and GPS for routing.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
