About The Position

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; frequently lift 50–75 pounds and maneuver cylinders weighing 100 pounds or more by rolling them or using a cart.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, back assessment, and company-administered road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and store gas and liquid cylinders, CO2, cryogenic liquids, and other supplies.
• Make deliveries to customers or other branches and complete delivery tickets accurately.
• Move, load, and unload empty and full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and deliver CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Prepare and complete paperwork accurately, including shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled.
• Maintain electronic trip logs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
