About The Position

Kolosso is looking for an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team! If you have a strong understanding of collision repair, enjoy working with customers, and have an eye for detail, we want to talk to you. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will play a critical role in guiding customers through the repair process while ensuring accurate estimates, clear communication, and a great customer experience.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive collision/body shop experience preferred.
  • Experience writing collision repair estimates preferred.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle construction and collision repair processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technicians, customers, insurance companies, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using computers and estimating software.
  • A professional attitude and commitment to doing the job right.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed collision repair estimates.
  • Work with customers to explain recommended repairs, timelines, and the repair process.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, technicians, parts personnel, and other departments.
  • Document vehicle damage with photographs and detailed notes.
  • Research repair procedures and ensure estimates follow manufacturer and industry guidelines.
  • Review estimates with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are identified.
  • Supplement estimates when additional damage is discovered during the repair process.
  • Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customers and insurance partners.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the repair process.
  • Help ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, and according to quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service from the initial estimate through vehicle delivery.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and positive work environment.
