Requirements

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience creating and maintaining detailed spreadsheets.

Nice To Haves

• 1–5 years of experience in project coordination, estimating, construction administration, or related work.
• Commercial construction or specialty subcontractor experience.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, takeoffs, bidding, or submittals.
• Experience supporting general contractors or managing customer accounts.
• On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software experience.
• Background in commercial interiors, building materials, specialty installations, or Division 10 products.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Junior Estimator, or Operations Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial construction projects from initial bid through final completion.
• Review bid invitations, construction plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare estimating spreadsheets, material takeoffs, and pricing information.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize estimates, project details, and cost information.
• Learn construction estimating tools, including On-Screen Takeoff.
• Prepare and track project submittals, approvals, and related documentation.
• Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deadlines, and customer requirements.
• Communicate with general contractors, customers, suppliers, and internal installation teams.
• Maintain accurate project records and keep multiple assignments moving forward.
• Attend occasional jobsite meetings to support project coordination.
• Identify issues early, follow up on outstanding items, and help keep projects on track.
• Gradually take ownership of projects from estimating through completion as skills develop.
