As a Security Officer Graveyard Armed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and public agency personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and employee activity in accordance with established site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.
