About The Position

As a full-time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in San Antonio, Texas, you will help safeguard a retail location by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to security concerns, and providing professional customer service. The role includes patrolling sales floors, receiving areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter; monitoring access points; reporting suspicious behavior and hazards; and responding to incidents and alarms according to post orders and escalation procedures. The position requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
• Successful completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random armed vehicle and foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and carry authorized equipment in accordance with policy.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
