About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time armed mobile patrol driver to serve and safeguard a financial institution in Mahwah, New Jersey. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license. The scheduled hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $26.13 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with company driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as permitted and required by applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations.
Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and company policies.
