About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services is seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer for a client site in Hopewell, New Jersey. The role is suited to candidates with military, law enforcement, or armed security backgrounds who demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to help maintain a safe and secure environment. Candidates with at least four years of military experience or active or retired law enforcement experience are strongly preferred. Qualified candidates with relevant armed security experience who meet licensing requirements will also be considered. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $25.00–$32.00 per hour. The employee will monitor and patrol the assigned property, report security concerns, complete incident reports and activity logs, enforce site procedures, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service and client support. A current New Jersey SORA license, a valid firearm permit, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass required background screenings are required. Requirements

Must possess a current New Jersey SORA license.
Must possess a valid firearm permit or license to carry a firearm.
Strong written communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
Reliable transportation is required.
Must be able to pass all required background screenings and maintain all required licenses and permits.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Four or more years of military experience is strongly preferred.
Active or retired law enforcement experience is strongly preferred.
Relevant armed security experience is valued.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol the assigned property to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
Observe, identify, and report suspicious activity or potential security concerns.
Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
Enforce site rules, security procedures, and post orders.
Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and other security-related situations.
Maintain a professional presence while providing customer service and client support.
