About The Position
Parkwest Casino is hiring a Security Guard to help provide a safe environment for the casino, its employees, and guests. The role calls for keen observation skills, familiarity with basic card room games, and a high level of customer service when interacting with guests from different cultures and with varied personalities. Guards must be able to operate a surveillance system, write detailed reports, and count chips accurately. Any shift may be assigned, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge, or license.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the United States.
- Must pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background check, and credit check.
- Open availability; must be able to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at the neck for six or more hours a day.
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift, including simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
