About The Position

Parkwest Casino is hiring an Armed Security Guard to help provide a safe environment for the casino, its employees, and guests. The role calls for keen observation, familiarity with basic card room games, effective use of surveillance systems, accurate report writing, and careful chip counting. Guest service is a key priority, including interacting with people of varied personalities and cultures. The role requires availability for any shift, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must possess a valid California BSIS Guard Card.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge, or license.
Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the United States.
Must pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background check, and credit check.
Must have open availability and be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and any shift.
Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory weighing up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at the neck for six or more hours a day.
Must be able to perform repetitive hand actions, including simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching for an entire shift.
Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
