About The Position

Blueline Security Services LLC is hiring experienced, professional, customer-focused Armed Security Officers for a church security assignment beginning December 1, 2026. This is an active, highly visible, customer-facing role—not a sit-down security position. Officers interact with church members, visitors, staff, guests, and the public in a fast-paced environment where professionalism, communication, sound judgment, situational awareness, and composure under pressure are essential. Officers help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment through access control, crowd management, observation and reporting, and a professional armed security presence. The position requires flexibility to work any of three shifts, weekends, holidays, busy services and events, and extended periods of standing and walking. Officers must follow company policies, procedures, site post orders, and supervisor instructions, and maintain all required licenses and qualifications. The pay rate is $22.50–$23.50 per hour. Pay is biweekly, direct deposit is available, and employee benefits are offered.

Requirements

At least one year of security experience.
Valid Maryland Armed Security Guard License.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays and be flexible to work all three shifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle busy services, events, and high-traffic periods.
Professional appearance and demeanor; dependable and punctual.
Strong communication and customer service skills, including comfort working directly with the public.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, including during difficult or unexpected situations.
Strong situational awareness and sound judgment.
Ability to handle access-control and crowd-control responsibilities.
Ability to follow post orders and supervisor instructions.
Ability to maintain all required licensing and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits, control access to the property, and help prevent unauthorized access.
Assist with managing large groups and maintaining orderly movement during services and events.
Observe, identify, and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, disturbances, and security incidents.
Maintain a highly visible, professional armed security presence and strong situational awareness while on duty.
Monitor people entering and exiting the facility.
Respond appropriately to incidents and changing situations.
Communicate with church staff, visitors, members, and Blueline supervisors.
Help maintain a safe environment during busy services and events.
Complete required reports and documentation.
Follow Blueline Security Services policies, procedures, and site post orders, as well as supervisor instructions.
Provide professional customer service while performing security duties.
Maintain a clean-cut, professional appearance and represent Blueline Security Services professionally.
