About The Position

Blueline Security Services LLC is hiring experienced, professional, customer-focused Armed Security Officers for a church security assignment beginning December 1, 2026. This is an active, highly visible, customer-facing position rather than a sit-down post. Officers interact with church members, visitors, staff, and guests in a fast-paced environment and are expected to demonstrate professionalism, communication, sound judgment, situational awareness, and composure under pressure. Officers help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment during church services and events. The role involves monitoring entrances and exits, controlling access, assisting with crowd management, observing and reporting suspicious activity and safety concerns, responding appropriately to incidents, communicating with church staff and Blueline supervisors, and completing required reports and documentation. Officers must follow company policies, procedures, and site post orders while maintaining a professional appearance and providing customer service. The listed pay rate is $22.50–$23.50 per hour, with biweekly pay, direct deposit available, and employee benefits available. All three shifts are available. Officers must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, various shifts, and extended periods of standing and walking, including during busy services, events, and high-traffic periods.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security experience.
Valid Maryland Armed Security Guard License.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Flexibility to work all three shifts and various shifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact directly with the public.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, including in difficult or unexpected situations.

Ability to handle access-control and crowd-control responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits and control access to the property.
Assist with managing large groups and maintaining orderly movement during services and events.
Identify and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, disturbances, and security incidents.
Maintain a highly visible and professional armed security presence.
Monitor people entering and exiting the facility and help prevent unauthorized access.
Maintain strong situational awareness and constant awareness of surroundings while on duty.
Respond appropriately to incidents and changing situations.
Communicate with church staff, visitors, members, and Blueline supervisors.
Help maintain a safe environment during busy services and events.
Complete required reports and documentation.
Follow Blueline Security Services policies, procedures, and site post orders.
Provide professional customer service while performing security duties.
