About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Guard Patrol to serve and safeguard clients at an educational location in Dallas, Texas. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting armed patrols, responding to incidents, and providing customer service and communication to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The officer carries out security procedures and campus-specific policies, responds to emergencies and disturbances, monitors access points, reports suspicious activity, prepares incident documentation, and collaborates with campus personnel and local law enforcement when directed.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
A valid armed guard card or license.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, residence-related areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor assigned access points and check credentials.
Report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate campus contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation.
Collaborate with campus personnel and local law enforcement when directed.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
