About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Armed Perimeter Patrol in Bunn, North Carolina, to serve and safeguard clients at a government corrections location. The role involves routine armed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. The officer communicates with staff and visitors while providing customer service. This is a part-time position scheduled for daytime hours on Saturday and overnight hours on Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and/or residents by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas; document observations and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, alarms, medical events, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders according to site procedures.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify identification and authorization as required, and help deter unauthorized entry or prohibited items.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
