About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and families in Toms River, Brick Township, Freehold, Manchester Township, the Jersey Shore area, and the surrounding metropolitan area of New Jersey. Care is provided in pets’ homes, where veterinarians help families navigate end-of-life decisions and say goodbye with dignity and peace. Two- and three-day schedules are described as full-time and self-managed part-time options, with prorated compensation and DVM Flex-Scheduling available. Compensation is guaranteed and ranges from $70,000 to $145,000 depending on schedule. Weekend days are chosen by the veterinarian, with four weekend days per month. Heartstrings does not require non-competes.
