Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Westchester County, New York, including the Bronx, Yonkers, White Plains, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Yorktown Heights, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with a focus on professional fulfillment, personal well-being, and balanced schedules. The position is part of a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Appointments average three to four per day, allowing time with families and less paperwork. Schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $117,500, and five-day positions offer a $140,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available, with prorated compensation. The role requires availability to work some weekends and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.
