About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to serve Cincinnati, Batavia, Mason, Milford, Fairfield, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with schedules of 2–5 days per week and an average of 3–4 unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The position is part of a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Part-time opportunities in the Cincinnati area are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Travel to appointments in Cincinnati, Batavia, Mason, Milford, Fairfield, and surrounding areas.
- Attend an average of 3–4 unhurried appointments per day.
