Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Montgomery County, Lansdale, Collegeville, Norristown, Eagleville, Ambler, Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities in the Montgomery County area offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Some benefits listed are available only to full-time team members.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide mobile hospice care for pets and their families.
- Provide euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Travel to appointments in the Montgomery County area and surrounding communities.
