Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to serve Rochester, Fairport, Webster, Pittsford, Irondequoit, Penfield, Canandaigua, and surrounding areas in New York. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, an average of three to four appointments per day, and support from onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as are three-day part-time opportunities. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $85,000, and five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
