Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Wilkes-Barre, Dallas, Clarks Summit, Glen Summit, Scranton, Mountain Top, Pittston, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with the opportunity to practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Schedules are available for 3, 4, or 5 days per week. The role averages 3–4 unhurried appointments per day. Support includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Compensation varies by schedule: 4-day positions start at $85,000, and 5-day positions have a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their start date.
