About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving North Dallas, Texas, including Coppell, McKinney, Denton, Carrollton, Frisco, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. This role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day, and support from a community of veterinarians and support professionals. The position includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as part-time opportunities. Four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must complete a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their start date.
