About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving St. Augustine, Fruit Cove, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Nocatee, Green Cove Springs, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, typically with an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as part-time opportunities. Four-day positions start at $85,000 and five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities; three-day full-time and part-time roles have prorated compensation. The position includes onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
