Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Savannah, Richmond Hill, Pooler, Guyton, Rincon, Bloomingdale, Georgia, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The company provides onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as are three-day part-time opportunities. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $75,000 and five-day positions offer a $90,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must complete a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
