About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Yardley, Buckingham, Newtown, Quakertown, Bristol, New Hope, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The employer is veterinarian-founded and owned and describes its culture as supportive and kind.

Part-time opportunities are available on a two-day-per-week schedule with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Candidates must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
• Travel to appointments in the service area and practice independently.
• Work some weekends.
