About The Position

Requirements

• Veterinary medicine experience is required.
• Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the United States, with no need for future employment-based green card sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally when they enter the hospital.
• Listen compassionately and communicate clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and by telephone.
• Assess each arriving client's needs and the pet's general condition.
• Determine whether an emergency arrival is a stat or standard emergency.
• Respond to non-patient calls and visitors and connect them with the appropriate team member.
• Confirm appointments in advance and provide accurate information about preparing pets for appointments.
• Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients compassionately and discreetly.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies handling pet remains, ensuring the process is complete, accurate, and compassionate.
