About The Position

Big Creek Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician to provide and support compassionate, high-quality veterinary care. Technicians are trusted partners in patient care who advocate for patients, assist veterinarians, guide clients through care decisions, and contribute to a positive hospital experience. The role supports patients throughout their visit, safe surgical and dental procedures, accurate diagnostics, and clear client communication. The hospital emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning.

This is a full-time, day-shift position with 8–10-hour shifts and rotating weekends. Compensation is $16.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and role alignment.

Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT).
• Strong technical and nursing skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures.
• Obtain blood samples, place catheters, and administer treatments as directed.
• Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver excellent patient care.
