Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre (MVVC), a privately owned, AAHA-accredited veterinary practice in Mineral Ridge, Ohio, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian. The practice welcomes both newer graduates seeking guidance and mentorship and experienced veterinarians seeking autonomy in a private-practice setting. The team emphasizes supportive collaboration, continued professional growth, and high-quality care for patients and clients. The hospital recently completed a multi-million-dollar expansion, growing from 1,400 to 4,400 square feet. It includes multiple surgery and dental suites, modern equipment, and a 4:1 staff-to-doctor ratio. Available technology includes a VetScalpel CO2 laser, digital radiology and dental X-ray, ultrasound, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, advanced anesthesia and patient monitoring equipment, and a therapeutic laser. The position offers a base salary of $120,000–$145,000 plus production, with typical annual earnings of $150,000–$185,000 or more. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. The practice is located in Mineral Ridge in the Youngstown-Warren area of Northeast Ohio, with access to outdoor recreation, local amenities, and nearby cities including Pittsburgh and Akron.

Requirements

DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
