About The Position

Bond Vet is hiring a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) to provide primary and urgent veterinary care in a float role serving Chicago clinics. Bond Vet is part of an organization formed by its July 2026 merger with Small Door Veterinary, which operates clinics across Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest markets. The role supports the organization’s mission to deliver connected, accessible, and compassionate veterinary care. Technicians work alongside veterinarians, nurses, veterinary assistants, a remote nurse team, and medical leadership. The clinics are designed to help technicians practice at the top of their licenses and focus on patient care. The role includes collaborating with veterinary teams across the region, participating in monthly educational events, and using technology—including AI-assisted tools and Apple Vision Pro—to reduce administrative work and enhance patient care. Compensation is $24–$34 per hour based on experience, with potential shift differentials of up to $8 per hour, a team-based profit-sharing bonus, and a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000. Flexible scheduling is offered, and schedules are released at least one month in advance. Applicants must have independent, unrestricted, valid authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer and be able to accept new employment. Bond Vet does not sponsor employment-based visas or facilitate F-1 STEM OPT for this role.
