Bond Vet•Chicago, IL
•$24 - $34•Onsite

About The Position

Bond Vet is hiring a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to support its primary and urgent veterinary care clinics in the Chicago area in a float role. The organization aims to strengthen the human-animal bond through accessible, compassionate pet care and clinics designed around pets, clients, and veterinary teams. Following its merger with Small Door Veterinary, Bond Vet is continuing to develop a connected care experience across routine, primary, and urgent care. The technician will practice at the top of their license while working alongside veterinarians, nurses, veterinary assistants, a remote nurse team, and medical leadership. The role includes patient care, client partnership, nursing support for surgical and dental procedures, diagnostics, medication administration, triage, and medical record keeping. Technicians will also run appointments with assistants, collaborate with regional colleagues, take part in monthly educational events, and use technology—including AI-assisted tools and Apple Vision Pro—to support patient care and reduce administrative work. The position offers $24–$34 per hour based on experience, an opportunity for up to a $2,000 sign-on bonus for licensed technicians, and an additional shift differential of up to $8 per hour. Schedules are released at least one month in advance, with flexible scheduling options.
