About The Position

The Village Vet at Sterling Ridge is hiring a Veterinary Technician in The Woodlands, Texas. This role supports veterinarians with hands-on patient care across medical and surgical cases in a busy, team-oriented practice focused on quality medicine, compassionate care, and strong client relationships. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Veterinary technician experience is preferred; 2 or more years is ideal.
• Comfort assisting with surgery and anesthesia monitoring.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Organized and dependable, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Availability for rotating Saturday shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Credentialed veterinary technician; credentialing is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Obtain patient histories and properly restrain pets.
• Prepare vaccines and support diagnostic testing.
• Take radiographs and assist with laboratory samples.
• Support surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring.
• Fill prescriptions and review discharge instructions with clients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and enter charges.
• Keep treatment areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Provide exceptional client service and patient care.
