About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or project management.
• Exposure to project-planning fundamentals, including requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and integration.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar software.
• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-starter with a strong bias for action and sense of ownership.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work across technical, business, and organizational functions.
• Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, and accountability in academic or internship settings.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

• Multiple internships or co-op rotations, particularly in aerospace, manufacturing, or operations environments.
• Prior internship experience at Blue Origin.
• Exposure to launch vehicle development, production, operations, or aerospace qualification test programs.
• Exposure to verification, integration, and test of orbital launch vehicles or human-rated spacecraft.
• Familiarity with avionics and electrical components such as LRUs, batteries, or data acquisition systems.
• Coursework or hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, rate management, or continuous improvement.
• Interest in or coursework related to project management, such as PMP concepts, Earned Value Management, critical path scheduling, or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and monitoring of projects and test campaigns against strict deadlines and high-level program schedules.
• Build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop an understanding of how stakeholder relationships influence project-management decisions and approaches.
• Support test campaigns for manufacturing and qualifying flight avionics hardware.
• Contribute to the development of safe and robust avionics for the New Glenn launch vehicle.
