About The Position
Join the HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as an Assistant Teacher. The centers focus on developing children from infancy to preschool, making early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children can learn, play, and grow. This is a closing-shift role supporting children's learning, safety, development, and communication with families.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- ECE coursework.
- At least one year of childcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Help deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to support fun learning environments.
- Follow TLE standards and protocols to keep classrooms clean, safe, and organized.
- Monitor children's growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
