The Assistant Teacher will help inspire children to become lifelong learners, support their daily care, and contribute to an engaging, clean, and organized classroom. The role also involves developing skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, communicating with families, and completing training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe and assess children and plan for them.
• Effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
