About The Position

This is more than a daycare job: it is an opportunity to learn, grow, thrive, and play while inspiring children to become lifelong learners. Assistant Teachers help provide daily care in a child care center, maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and develop skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. They complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Develop the ability to effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
