About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring Assistant Guides for its Richardson school. The Assistant Guide supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6, helping create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. The role includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. Assistant Guides help children build confidence and independence while collaborating with Lead Guides and other team members.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 3 years in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Montessori experience.

• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
