About The Position

Silverline Montessori Silverlake Campus is seeking an Assistant Teacher to help create a safe, positive learning environment for children. The Assistant Teacher supports age-appropriate curriculum implementation, prepares and organizes learning materials, and supervises children during activities, meals, and naptime. The role also involves helping lead learning activities, monitoring children’s progress and development, and fostering a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. Silverline Montessori is part of Endeavor Schools, an education management company with more than 100 schools in 14 states. Requirements

Love working with children.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
Meet specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
Prior experience with the assigned age group.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in early childhood development or CDA certification preferred but not required.
Six months of prior experience working in a certified child development center; one year preferred.
