About The Position

The Assistant Teacher supports children’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development by planning, directing, and participating in age-appropriate activities under the oversight of a senior team member. The role uses a provided play-based curriculum to help prepare children for kindergarten and ease them into organized education, from infancy through school age. The Assistant Teacher also helps with daily care, including feeding, changing, and nap time, and maintains interactive, open communication with parents and team members using the Classroom Management system.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in childcare.
• Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities
