About The Position

BrightPath Kids is seeking an Assistant Teacher to work alongside teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role supports children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in a safe, warm, clean environment that encourages them to grow, explore, and participate in activities. The position is full-time in Maineville and offers no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms inside and outside as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
