Surveillance Agent - Part Time

About The Position

Responsible for the clandestine monitoring of gaming conducted at slot machines, operations at the cashiers' cage and any satellite cage, operations at automated bill breaker machines, automated gaming voucher and coupon redemption machines, automated jackpot payout machines and automated teller machines. Also responsible for monitoring count processes in the count room, the movement of cash and slot cash storage boxes, and the entrances and exits, gaming floor, and count room. Monitors gaming at table games and the operation of any satellite cage or Poker room cage. Oversees the storage areas for chips, plaques, cards, dice, Sic Bo shakers, Pai Gow tiles and other equipment used to conduct table games. Responsible for the video recording of movements of table games boxes. Records questionable activity for review and possible use as evidence in court. Responsible for the preparation of daily logs and complete incident reports as circumstances dictate. When assigned to the CCTV monitoring room, "patrol" the facility through the use of pan, tilt, and zoom cameras and record all pertinent activity on the digital recording system. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Ensures that proper security and chain of custody is maintained on all departmental evidence. Performs other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Asst Shift Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer and typing skills are required.
  • Must be able to learn work-related computer programs.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees.
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
  • Must have the ability to write reports.
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
  • Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
  • Sitting 90% of the time.
  • Standing 10% of the time.
  • Lifting/moving maximum of 20 lbs.
  • Must have excellent hand/eye coordination to operate camera switcher controls.

  • Previous Security or Loss Prevention experience is preferred.

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Asst Shift Manager.
