About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer and typing skills are required.
• Must be able to learn work-related computer programs.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees.
• Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
• Must have the ability to write reports.
• Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
• Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Sitting 90% of the time.
• Standing 10% of the time.
• Lifting/moving maximum of 20 lbs.
• Must have excellent hand/eye coordination to operate camera switcher controls.

• Previous Security or Loss Prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clandestine monitoring of gaming conducted at slot machines.
• Monitoring operations at the cashiers' cage and any satellite cage.
• Monitoring operations at automated bill breaker machines, automated gaming voucher and coupon redemption machines, automated jackpot payout machines and automated teller machines.
• Monitoring count processes conducted in the count room.
• Monitoring the movement of cash and slot cash storage boxes.
• Monitoring entrances and exits, the gaming floor and the count room.
• Monitoring gaming conducted at the table games.
• Monitoring the operation of any satellite cage or Poker room cage.
• Monitoring storage areas used for the storage of chips, plaques, cards, dice, Sic Bo shakers, Pai Gow tiles and other equipment used to conduct table games.
• Video recording of movements of table games boxes.
• Recording questionable activity for review and possible use as evidence in court.
• Preparation of daily logs and complete incident reports as circumstances dictate.
• Patrolling the facility through the use of pan, tilt, and zoom cameras and recording all pertinent activity on the digital recording system when assigned to the CCTV monitoring room.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensuring that proper security and chain of custody is maintained on all departmental evidence.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Asst Shift Manager.
