About The Position

As a Yard Switcher, you will move and spot containers to support warehouse sorting and the processing of material for shipment or storage. You will operate a vehicle around the plant, storage lot, and staging area, and maintain an orderly storage lot to help maximize efficiency in serving plant needs. This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the pay is $20.00 per hour. The role requires attention to detail to support safety, and the ability to work overtime as necessary. Work may involve extreme conditions, including heat, cold, the elements, and airborne particulates. Employees repetitively lift up to 50–75 pounds and may need to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths. Noise levels vary by location. Required PPE includes eye protection and safety shoes; ear protection is mandatory at several locations. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Attention to detail to promote safety for yourself and others.
High motivation and ability to work overtime as necessary.

Prior experience operating a manual transmission/10-speed vehicle is preferred.
