Switcher (2nd Shift)
About The Position
Universal Logistics is seeking a Yard Switcher (Yard Driver) to move trailers around the yard and support dock and warehouse operations. This is a full-time position based in Romulus, Michigan, with steady, year-round work and daily home time. The second-shift schedule is 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Training takes place on first shift for one to two weeks, depending on experience. The starting wage is $24.50 per hour. The company describes opportunities for long-term career growth. Candidates must be able to commute to or relocate to Romulus, MI, before starting. Work is in person.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Move trailers in and out of dock doors.
- Perform yard checks and maintain trailer organization.
- Communicate with dispatch, warehouse, and leadership teams.
- Operate yard equipment safely at all times.
- Follow company and safety procedures.
