About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Finance, Strategy, Operations, or Analytics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and deliver multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Power-user proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python (pandas).
• Expertise analyzing large datasets and generating actionable insights.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in an area such as MBA, Engineering, or Data Science.
• Experience in fintech, payments, lending, or credit and collections.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify business trends, loss drivers, and performance metrics, and generate insights that improve business results.
• Translate analytical findings into tools, processes, and operating strategies with measurable business impact.
• Communicate with executives, cross-functional partners, and external clients; engage directly with clients to explain the product, address concerns, and recoup outstanding amounts.
• Design, implement, and continually improve scalable processes and internal controls for a large ecosystem of individual accounts.
• Drive operational efficiency through automation and technology to manage volume, complexity, and growth.
• Work with Product and Engineering to build, enhance, and integrate tools and systems into Payactiv’s platform and ecosystem.
• Lead, develop, and scale an international finance operations team of 5+ professionals focused on improving collections and reducing loss rates.
• Partner with leaders across Business, FP&A, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering on high-impact business initiatives.
