Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, a caring culture that puts people first, and a commitment to teamwork and integrity.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions across the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and verify credentials, deliveries, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site policies.
- Support security-related operations by reporting maintenance concerns, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, and by assisting with traffic flow and orderly movement of people and vehicles on site.
