About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a driving post at a manufacturing and industrial location in Catawba, South Carolina. The officer will help manage entry points, verify credentials, assist with badge-related access, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The position also involves routine patrols, monitoring vehicle, personnel, and material traffic, deterring incidents, and providing customer service and communication. A valid driver's license is required for this driving position.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, personnel, and material traffic according to site procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
