Security Officer Afternoon Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed security patrol driver at an educational location in Castle Hayne, North Carolina. The role involves providing customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while conducting campus patrols and supporting a welcoming environment. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and the pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least six months of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.
Requirements

- A valid driver’s license, required for this driving position and subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to campus incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications accurately and promptly.
