About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer Patrol in Erie, Pennsylvania, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report unusual activity. You will help create a welcoming environment through customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $13.70 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
