About The Position

As a Security Officer Pharmaceutical Company Afternoon Patrol in Oceanside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification protocols.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately in required reports and logs.
