About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Fayetteville, North Carolina, you will help safeguard an educational healthcare campus. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, communicate professionally with students, staff, faculty, and visitors, and provide customer service. The role is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour. The scheduled hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and faculty by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific policies, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
