About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver for a utilities location in Daggett, California. The unarmed patrol officer conducts routine vehicle patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, reports security-related concerns, and provides customer service to site personnel and visitors. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security policies at a utility location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs; communicate observations and security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
